Cross Infection Control

All our team, including the dentists, undergo an annual update and certified training in the very latest Cross Infection Control advances.

Many of the items used in the surgery are only used once and discarded. This includes syringes and root canal files. Those items (instruments) that are not disposable are sterilised in our modern autoclave and sterilisation equipment as used in hospitals.

We also welcome patients to tour the practice and see the sterilization procedures in force, please ask at reception and we will be happy to show you the measures in place throughout the practice.

Intra oral camera

Allows you to see what the dentist can see! A great way to help understand the diagnosis made by the dentist to understand potential problems by magnifying the image on to a large screen.

Digital x-ray equipment

This advanced x-ray technique is safer for patients as it facilitates a reduction in radiation by 90% compared to conventional x-ray techniques. A sensor placed in your mouth conveys the x-ray images instantly via computer onto a high resolution flat screen monitor.
