At SW1 Dental Implant Studio & Implant Clinic we can offer our patients ‘Same-Day Teeth’ using the Columbus Bridge® concept. This means that we are able to provide patients who currently have removable dentures or failing bridgework with permanent, fixed teeth in just one day!
This technique is life-changing for patients who may have previously been advised they have insufficient bone into which to place dental implants, or for those patients who are simply unhappy with their current dentures or worn-out bridgework. By placing a minimum of 4 dental implants in strategic (sometimes tilted) positions in your upper and lower jaw we are able to provide fixed replacement teeth in just one session, utilising all available bone.

The All-on-Four Procedure
Placing a dental implant is a fairly straight-forward, minimally invasive procedure and something that we do everyday at Portmore.
Stage 1 – Planning and preparation
Dr Benigni will assess your mouth to ensure your case is suitable for treatment with same day smile implants. You will need an accurate 3D mapping of your jaw. This allows for safe and effective long term results.
Stage 2 – On the day
On the day itself Dr Benigni will remove your existing, failed teeth and/or bridgework and place 4 implants which are able to support a full row of highly aesthetic teeth, created by on site by our team of master ceramicists. The procedure can take 2-4 hours for one arch, both sets top and bottom can also be done in one visit.
Your new smile will be fixed in place and will be a very high quality ‘temporary’ restoration. This will be worn during the healing phase and acts as a template and planning tool for your final ‘WOW’ smile.
Stage 3 – Healing
For the next 8 weeks you have the opportunity to test your new smile, which gives time for you to decide on any changes in the colour texture, sparkle and positioning of the teeth. This period also allows the implants to completely fuse to the bone in preparation for your final smile!
Stage 4 – Your final smile!
Your final bridge is usually ready within 3-6 months of your initial treatment. It is made up of either carbon fibre or state of the art computer milled titanium skeleton with a choice of composite zirconia or acrylic teeth.
