How it works
Impressions of your teeth and gums are scanned, then a sophisticated computer model helps design a series of clear aligners planned by Dr Leyland or Dr Eskander using Invisalign software.
Each set of clear aligners is worn for 2 weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. The aligners should be worn for at least 20 hours per day for the best results.
As each aligner is replaced by the next, the teeth will move gradually until they have straightened to the final position.
You will visit us once every 6-8 weeks to ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned.
Total treatment time averages 9-15 months and the average number of aligners worn during treatment is 18-30, but this will vary from case to case.
Over time these aligners gradually reposition each tooth into the smile you’ve been dreaming off.
They are almost invisible and can be taken out at any time to eat, drink or clean your teeth.
