Rana is a multi-award winning Periodontal Specialist with nearly 30 years of clinical experience.
Dr Rana Al-Falaki is a Periodontal Specialist and a global pioneer in the use of Erbium:Chromium lasers in periodontics. She was the first periodontist in the UK to incorporate lasers into routine periodontal therapy. She is an international speaker, trainer, visiting professor and founder of the Global Periodontal Laser

Rana graduated from Barts & The London School of Medicine & Dentistry in 1997 with distinction

Completed a 3 years of MSc degree in Periodontolgy with distinction in 2002

Rana has been a periodontal specialist since 2003

Rana has 30 years of clinical experience and over 20 years experience in providing complex complex periodontal treatment.

Completed a 3 years of MSc degree in Periodontolgy with distinction in 2002. She is confident in providing the best and most advanced treatment for her patients.

Rana has worked in teaching hospitals teaching undergraduates, post-graduates, hygienists and therapists, as well as a consultant and involved in research.

Is the global pioneer in the use of Erbium:Chromium lasers in periodontics and was the first periodontist in the UK to incorporate lasers into routine periodontal therapy.

Rana is an international speaker, lecturer and trainer, as well as a visiting professor, and founder of the Global Periodontal Laser User Society (G-PLUS).

She has published several papers supporting the use of lasers in periodontics, and her protocols are being used globally by both clinicians and researchers, including Harvard and London University.

She also runs her own post-graduate academy training dentists and hygienists in advanced periodontics.
